My friends have chosen the fanciest bar to head to for a birthday this upcoming weekend. You know – the type of bar where EVERY girl in there is stick thin, with "Kelly-Kapowski" type short, mini dresses, heels, etc.

Now, I’m plus size. (Stop right there if you’re solution to all of this is for me to "lose weight" — because unless you have some sort of miracle pill that will make me lose all this weight by this weekend, then it’s a waste of an answer) ….. ANYWAYS …. I know how to dress my self for my body proportions, and I look really nice and stylish in public. And any bar I’ve ever gone too is a casual, laid back bar, where jeans and a nice top are ok.

But this place we’re going to on Saturday is "Dress-code in effect". And I am completely stressed out over what to wear. I have no idea.
Any ideas or suggestions? I want to be comfortable in what I wear (ie. nothing clingy, or short), but I also want to look nice.
